Designed for educational use without the in-app- purchase functionality, Nature Maestro Expedition contains all three complete biomes: Rainforest Day, Rainforest Night, and Glacier Bay. Verbatim recordings of fact cards plus an audio glossary are featured. Also included is Earth In Concert: a flattened illustration of Earth in which you can add animals from any biome. Curriculum tie-ins are included in the app and teachers may also visit the Classroom page on this site for additional enrichment materials for classroom use.
The Expedition version includes Rainforest Day, Rainforest Night, and Glacier Bay biomes, plus Earth in Concert for composing with sounds from all three biomes, and curriculum enrichment aligned with Common Core.
Tent Button: This is in the upper left-hand corner and takes you back to the splash page.
Share Button: This opens a window that allows you to share the soundscapes and scenes you've created.
Animal Tracks Button: This button opens and closes the animal icon menu on the right. By default, the menu is open when you go to the Explore page.
Bottom Menu Button: This button opens and closes the bottom menu.
Surprise Button: This button brings in random animals and other icons from the menu.
Melody Button: This button toggles the melodies on and off.
Rhythm Button: This button toggles the rhythms on and off.
Background Mute Button: This button mutes the background, but not the individual animals.
Topnote Button: This button turns on and off a timeline view of your soundscape at the top of the soundscape stage.
Compose Button: This button opens and closes the compose window.
Record Button: This button starts and stops recording. It also opens a window for you to review what you recorded.
